The first year of ECV programme, known as the Foundation Year/ECV L1, prepares students for graduate classes as well as applying to the major schools of art and design in France and abroad. It is, without a doubt, the most important stage in the student’s education : basic knowledge of drawing, creativity and artistic culture lay the groundwork for the skills subsequently acquired by students.

This period is when students will make the most spectacular progress and develop structure. A smooth- running Foundation Year will pave the way for success in future studies.
