Studying Design in France

Jobs in design and communications have been around ever since the creation of writing and images. Throughout time, these professions have been able to develop and thrive thanks to emerging technologies. They began on paper and moved to the screen, evolving from print media to social media. These professions have changed and adapted to the times, but most importantly, the core of this industry, image and artistic creation, has never changed and remains intact. ECV has earned its great reputation thanks to its excellent programmes in design.

Design Course

After the acquisition of basics in Prépa Art & Design, it is possible to continue the training with the Bachelor in Design course. New techniques will help you excel in your publishing, advertising or digital projects.

Carry on with the master in design to improve your control of the conception process and the completion of a project. Choose your speciality: Advertising, Digital Design, Graphic Design (visual identity and packaging), Design & Typography (available only at the Paris campus) or Design & Strategy, and work on real cases by addressing visual communication as a whole, from the initial brief to the final production of the realisation.

This cycle will allow you to guide your future professional practice as an artistic director, by confronting yourself to corporate reality through an internship that is integrated to the course at ECV, giving you the opportunity for a much needed experience.

Our training in Design is available on all our campuses: Paris, Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence, Nantes and Lille.

“Even before graduating, Nash & Young, the advertising and brand strategy agency, offered me a job as art director of print media. The project I’m most proud of is the revamping of the Oh My Mag! identity and visual design. Since then, I’ve become self-employed and do freelance work.”
