Erasmus is part of the European Community “Lifelong learning programme”. Its aim is to enhance the quality and European scope of higher education by increasing european mobility and improving the transparency of studies throughout the Union. Institutions awarded the university charter can participate in the activities supported by the Erasmus programme. Students can pursue their course of study for a semester at higher education institutions in other European countries under prior inter-university agreements.
